Thank you for inquiring about our custom brand musical instrument products! We hope this brief description answers all of your questions.
Rondo Music is an American owned and operated family business, founded in 1959. Rondo Music sells a variety of musical instruments including electric guitars, acoustic guitars, guitar amps, banjos, and a variety of over mostly stringed instruments. Our primary on line focus is SX Guitars, Agile Guitars, Douglas Guitars, Hadean Guitars, Omega Guitars, Brice Basses, and CNB Cases.
Since about 1985 Rondo Music has built these custom brand instruments to our specifications based on our customer's requests. The instruments are imported from a variety of countries including China, Taiwan, and Korea.
In general, these guitars are great for beginners or novice players to learn on. They are all full sized (same size as a standard electric guitar or bass guitar). They stay in tune and the necks are straight. They are also good for expert players who need a guitar to "kick around with". Something they can bring to a friend's house, and not worry about scratching, like they would with a $1000 American made guitar. In general the Brice basses and Agile guitars offer slightly improved quality and some upgraded features (such as maple quilt tops) over the SX, Douglas and Valencia models. However, the cost of these models is higher as well.
These products are distributed by a number of companies throughout the world. In the United States and Canada, Rondo Music is the only reseller. The brands are frequently auctioned on www.ebay.com, sold on amazon or may be purchased directly from Rondo Music. Other companies may distribute these products but usually under their own brand name. These guitars are essentially the same guitars with a different name printed on them.

"I play mostly Fenders, both Strats and Teles. But I've always thought that the P-90 Les Pauls were something special, but way too expensive. This Essex closes the gap - actually demolishes it. For the price, I don't think there's another guitar on the market that can compare." -ddansk
This is by far the best non-Gibson guitar available. And the low price makes it even more attractive. From 6 feet away, you'd assume that it's a 1956 Gibson Historic Reissue."Chuck Lindley
