The Bromo BAR4GCE combines distinctive all-solid mango wood construction with premium appointments and versatile Fishman electronics. Part of Bromo's Rocky Series, this Hillside Auditorium acoustic-electric guitar features a solid mango top, solid mango back and sides, patented ToneFlow™ bracing, and Fishman Sonitone pickup system.
Unlike guitars that feature only a solid top with layered back and sides, the BAR4GCE is constructed with solid mango throughout its body. Mango is known for its attractive natural grain patterns and can produce a warm, balanced acoustic voice with pleasing clarity and responsiveness. The natural variations in mango wood give each instrument its own distinctive appearance.
The comfortable Hillside Auditorium body shape provides a versatile acoustic playing experience, while Bromo's patented ToneFlow™ bracing is designed to enhance resonance and tonal response. The satin finish complements the natural beauty of the solid mango wood.
The low-profile mahogany neck features two Amara Ebony reinforcement strips, an Amara Ebony fingerboard, and 20 jumbo frets. Decorative details include Mt. Bromo abalone fingerboard inlays with maple rings, an abalone Cowboy Rope rosette, flamed maple body binding, and gold-plated tuning machines.
For amplified performance, the Fishman Sonitone pickup system provides natural acoustic sound with convenient volume and tone controls, making the BAR4GCE suitable for home playing, recording, and live performance.
Includes a Bromo heavy-duty padded carry bag.
The Bromo BAR4GCE is an excellent choice for guitarists seeking an all-solid wood acoustic-electric guitar without the higher price commonly associated with premium solid-wood instruments. Its solid mango top, back, and sides offer an appealing alternative to more traditional spruce and mahogany combinations, with attractive natural grain patterns that make each guitar visually distinctive.
While many acoustic guitars in this price range use a solid top with layered back and sides, the BAR4GCE features all-solid construction throughout the body. Combined with Bromo's patented ToneFlow™ bracing, this design offers a responsive acoustic playing experience suited to a variety of musical styles.
The Hillside Auditorium body provides a comfortable alternative to larger dreadnought and jumbo guitars, while the low-profile neck and 1 11/16" nut width make it approachable for both chord playing and fingerstyle techniques. The satin finish, decorative abalone appointments, and flamed maple binding give the instrument a refined appearance.
The Fishman Sonitone pickup system adds versatility for musicians who want to perform through an amplifier or PA system without sacrificing the convenience of a traditional acoustic guitar. A bone nut and saddle, Amara Ebony fingerboard and bridge, and included heavy-duty padded carry bag add further value.
For players looking for an all-solid mango acoustic-electric guitar with Fishman electronics, the Bromo BAR4GCE offers a compelling combination of natural wood beauty, acoustic performance, craftsmanship, and value.
For me BAR5CE has the similar feel and playability as Taylor builder edition 8xx. I barely can find difference between them. If you attached to brands and want invest to Martin, Taylor or Gibson nothing wrong, but world is bigger, they don't have access to all available wood.

I purchased the Bromo BAR 5 CE acoustic guitar from Rondo Music. I live in Florida but I'm originally from Vermont and have purchased music equipment from Rondo Music in the past. I received the Bromo acoustic in just 3 days! I purchased this guitar after seeing a YouTube video review and it looked too good to be be true and expected I may need to return the guitar. The YouTube review was 100% accurate! I was blown away by the build quality and sound of this guitar. Highly recommend Rondo!!!! - Mike McG on Reverb
