Bromo BAR6H-HS – All-Solid 12-Fret Parlor Acoustic Guitar – Historic Sunburst

$359.95

The Bromo BAR6H-HS is an all-solid 12-fret parlor acoustic guitar combining a solid spruce top with solid mahogany back and sides. It is Bromo's first all-solid guitar designed around a 12th-fret neck joint, pairing a compact parlor body with a short 24 29/32" (632.4 mm) scale for a comfortable, traditional playing feel.

The BAR6H-HS features Bromo's 5-ply reinforced neck, constructed from mahogany with two Amara ebony reinforcement strips, along with a Low Oval neck profile and A-grade Amara ebony fingerboard. The open-style headstock uses lightweight vintage Bromo antique-brass tuners, while the Amara ebony bridge, bone nut and saddle, 20 jumbo frets and Historic Sunburst satin finish complete the traditional design.

Why Choose the Bromo BAR6H-HS?

The Bromo BAR6H-HS combines several desirable acoustic-guitar features in one compact instrument: all-solid construction, a 12-fret neck joint, short scale and parlor body. The smaller body and narrower waist provide comfortable playing dimensions and an articulate voice particularly well suited to fingerstyle playing, while the short scale and 12-fret design provide a relaxed playing feel. For players looking for an all-solid 12-fret parlor guitar without moving into a much higher price range, the BAR6H-HS offers an unusual combination of traditional design, premium tonewoods and detailed appointments.

Distinctive Bromo Details

The BAR6H-HS includes Bromo's "Comfy" bone nut design, intended to keep the player's hand unobstructed around the nut area, plus an Amara ebony inverted Mt. Bromo bridge and ebony bridge pins with "Eagle Eye" abalone dots. Decorative appointments include abalone "Eagle Eye" fret markers, mother-of-pearl side dots, a mother-of-pearl Mt. Bromo headstock logo and an abalone "Cowboy Rope" soundhole rosette.
