Finally, an Extreme-Range Headless Baritone Designed for Left-Handed Players! The Agile Chiral Nirvana 82730 RL MOD SS Flat Black Left-Handed combines a remarkable 27"–30" multiscale, eight-string extended range, premium Fishman Fluence pickups, and advanced headless construction in a true left-handed instrument.
For left-handed musicians looking to explore extremely low tunings, finding a suitable eight-string guitar with a full 30" bass-string scale can be challenging. The Nirvana 82730 offers this specialized configuration without sacrificing the premium features of the Agile Chiral series.
Highlights include Fishman Fluence M38-SB2 three-voice Modern humbuckers, 24 stainless steel frets, an American-made Richlite fretboard, genuine Luminlay fluorescent side markers, and a stable three-piece wenge/maple bolt-on neck.
The latest V3.7 design incorporates a notched neck heel, improved string locks, expanded Fishman voice selection, and refined contours that help protect the headless tuning hardware.
The most distinctive feature of this Nirvana 82730 is its left-handed construction.
Left-handed extended-range players often have a more limited selection of instruments, especially when searching for eight strings, multiscale construction, headless hardware, and a very long bass-string scale in the same guitar.
The Agile Chiral Nirvana 82730 Left-Handed brings these features together in an instrument designed specifically for left-handed playing.
Its combination of extended low-register capability and modern electronics is especially appealing for progressive metal, djent, experimental music, and musicians exploring unusually low tunings.
The Nirvana 82730 uses a 27" scale on the treble side and a full 30" scale on the bass side.
At a given pitch and string gauge, the longer bass-string scale provides additional tension compared with a shorter-scale guitar. This can produce a tighter picking feel, greater note definition, and more controlled low-frequency response.
The shorter 27" treble-string scale is more manageable than a uniform 30" scale for melodic playing, chords, and lead techniques.
For left-handed guitarists seeking extra-low tunings, the 82730 provides an appealing alternative to conventional eight-string instruments with shorter scales.
The Nirvana 82730 is compatible with the optional Cepheus 9-String Electric Guitar String Set, which includes a tapered .090w bass string suitable for its long-scale headless bridge.
Players can use this set in two ways:
The standard factory eight-string set uses .010, .012, .016, .024w, .032w, .042w, .054w, and .074w (high to low).
These heavier configurations are optional, not factory installed. Changes in string gauges or tuning may require adjustments to neck relief, action, intonation, and string-lock setup.

This left-handed Nirvana features the Fishman Fluence M38-SB2 8-String Modern Humbucker three-voice pickup system.
The neck position uses a Fishman Fluence Modern Alnico humbucker, while the bridge position uses the Ceramic version.
The Alnico neck pickup provides rich, articulate tones for clean passages, chords, and expressive lead playing.
Its alternate humbucker voicing gives players additional tonal flexibility without changing pickups.
The Ceramic bridge pickup delivers powerful attack, tight bass response, and articulate high-gain tones.
Its controlled low-frequency response is particularly valuable when playing extremely low-tuned eight-string rhythm parts.
The V3.7 Fishman electronics provide three distinct sounds:
The push-pull volume control selects between the two humbucker voices, while the push-pull tone control provides the third, single-coil-style sound.
A three-way pickup selector provides neck, combined, and bridge pickup settings.
The V3.7 Nirvana design introduces several important refinements:
The Nirvana 82730 features 24 stainless steel frets, providing smooth playing characteristics and excellent resistance to wear.
The updated notched heel complements the 24-fret layout by offering improved fretting-hand clearance in the upper register.
This model features an American-made Richlite fretboard with a clean playing surface and no front-facing DOT inlays.
Richlite is a durable engineered material known for its dimensional stability and consistent playing feel.
The clean fretboard appearance complements the guitar's understated Flat Black finish.
All Agile Chiral Nirvana models feature genuine Luminlay fluorescent position markers along the side of the neck.
These markers absorb light and glow in darker environments, helping players identify fret positions during performances on dimly lit stages.
The Luminlay side markers provide practical visual references without requiring front-facing DOT inlays.
The three-piece wenge/maple neck offers stable multi-piece construction for this extended-scale eight-string instrument.
The bolt-on neck joint features the latest V3.7 notched heel, improving access to the highest frets.
An adjustable truss rod allows neck relief to be adjusted for different string gauges and tunings.
The Nirvana 82730 features a contoured double-cutaway swamp ash body with a burl ash top.
The Flat Black finish gives the instrument a clean, modern appearance that complements the streamlined headless construction.
The V3.7 body contours also help protect the bridge-mounted tuning hardware during handling and performance.
Despite its full 30" bass-string scale, the Nirvana 82730 measures approximately 35" overall, including the strap button.
Eliminating the conventional headstock helps reduce overall length compared with similarly scaled guitars using traditional headstock construction.
The Cepheus headless individual saddle and tuning system provides separate tuning and intonation adjustments for each string.
Left-handed musicians seeking very low tunings often face limited choices in extended-range guitars. The Agile Chiral Nirvana 82730 brings together a true left-handed configuration, eight strings, a full 30" bass-string scale, and premium modern hardware.
The 27"–30" multiscale offers excellent potential for extreme low-register performance, while optional tapered .090 string compatibility provides additional flexibility for drop tuning or lower overall tuning.
Fishman Fluence M38-SB2 three-voice pickups deliver powerful active humbucker tones, alternate voices, and an optimized single-coil-style sound.
Premium construction includes 24 stainless steel frets, a stable Richlite fretboard, Luminlay fluorescent side markers, and a three-piece wenge/maple bolt-on neck.
The V3.7 improvements add better upper-fret access, reinforced string locks, and improved headless tuner protection.
Extreme Extended-Range Performance for Left-Handed Players! The Agile Chiral Nirvana 82730 RL MOD SS Flat Black Left-Handed offers an uncommon combination of scale length, features, and versatility for musicians who refuse to compromise on their preferred playing orientation.

And WOW - this is my third Agile and you have really dialed in the quality control! The others were good, but this one is basically perfect top-to-bottom, and the setup was spot-on right out of the case. Every fret was intonated on my strobe tuner and the action gets super low with no buzz. I am also really picky about fretwork - to the point where I often re-fret most of my brand new guitars, just because I like my own end dressing - but this thing is dressed better than my $3k guitars! The ends are just perfect, feel great, and look like a robot did every fret. I am seriously impressed.
To top it off, I tried putting a set of custom 10-90 strings and it barely needed a truss rod adjustment. That is a stiff neck! I love it. Are there carbon fiber reinforcements in there, or is that all the dual truss rods?
