Agile AL-3200MCC-P Special Edition

The Agile AL-3200MCC-P Chris Poland Special Edition is a 24-fret neck-through electric guitar developed in collaboration with legendary guitarist Chris Poland. This Blue-Purple Burl version features a slim 48 mm mahogany body with a solid maple cap, 5-piece maple/walnut neck-through construction, ebony fretboard, Floyd Rose FRT-S2000 tremolo, and dual Giovanni Type V Alnico humbuckers with coil tapping. Its wide-profile neck, 12"-16" compound-radius ebony fretboard, and 24.75" scale make it especially well suited to expressive lead playing, aggressive bends, metal, hard rock, and technical styles.

    The Agile AL-3200MCC-P Version 2.0 Chris Poland Special Edition takes the familiar AL platform in a more performance-focused direction. Developed in collaboration with guitarist Chris Poland, it combines 24 frets, a slimmer 48 mm body, neck-through construction, a wide-profile neck, compound-radius ebony fretboard, Floyd Rose tremolo and a redesigned control layout intended for expressive and technical playing.

    A particularly unusual feature is the combination of a wide 1 11/16" neck profile with a standard Floyd Rose R2 locking nut. This provides additional fretboard edge clearance for aggressive bends and technical playing. The 12"-16" compound-radius ebony fretboard progresses from a rounder feel near the nut to a flatter radius in the upper register, while 24 frets provide a full two-octave range on every string.

    Together, these changes distinguish the AL-3200MCC-P Version 2.0 from the standard AL-3200MCC and make it especially suited to players looking for a slimmer, 24-fret, neck-through single-cut guitar with a fully floating Floyd Rose and expanded pickup switching.

    The story of this guitar begins back in August 2025, when we were approached by Pamala Parks, manager for legendary guitarist Chris Poland. Chris, as many know, was featured on Megadeth’s Killing Is My Business, Peace Sells, The System Has Failed, and numerous other projects, and continues his work with OHM, Metropolis, Kings of Thrash, and many others.

    Design Notes:

    Most of this model’s standout features are found right in the opening list of the guitar description above. The guitar's redesigned control layout offers faster, more ergonomic access compared to traditional placements. The body has been slimmed from our standard 3200MCC for improved playing comfort, especially during long sessions.

    One of the most important upgrades is the pairing of a wide 1 11/16" neck with a standard R2 nut. This setup offers the ideal balance of string spacing and edge clearance, allowing players to dig in hard, bend wide, and play aggressively without feeling cramped or slipping off the edge.

    Combined with 24 full frets providing access to two complete octaves, the AL-3200MCC-P is built to keep up with the most expressive and technical players.
