Agile Interceptor Pro 727 EB EMG Tribal Purple – 7-String 27

Agile Interceptor Pro 727 EB EMG Tribal Purple – 7-String 27" Scale Neck-Through Guitar with EMG 707 Pickups & Floyd Rose

$799.95

The Agile Interceptor Pro 727 EB EMG Tribal Purple is a 7-string extended-range electric guitar combining a 27" scale with 5-piece neck-through construction, an ebony fretboard, dual EMG 707 active pickups and a double-locking Floyd Rose FRT-S2000 tremolo. Its longer scale helps provide additional tension and definition on the low B string while retaining a familiar straight-fret layout.

The Interceptor Pro 727 features a lightweight mahogany archtop body with a genuine Canadian quilted maple top, 24 extra-jumbo frets, a 13.7" (350 mm) fretboard radius, reverse headstock and Grover Rotomatic 18:1 tuners. Master volume, master tone and a 3-way pickup selector provide straightforward control over the pair of EMG 707 active 7-string humbuckers.

Why Choose the Agile Interceptor Pro 727?

The Agile Interceptor Pro 727 combines the extended range of a 7-string guitar with a 27" scale, neck-through construction, active EMG pickups and a fully floating Floyd Rose tremolo. Compared with shorter 25.5" 7-string designs, the 27" scale provides additional low-string tension and clarity, while still keeping a conventional straight-fret feel. It is a strong option for players who want a performance-oriented 7-string with active pickups, locking tremolo and baritone-like scale length without moving to a multiscale instrument.

Customer Comments

Kurt, I bought my Agile Interceptor Pro 727 from you about a year ago, and I don't think I've ever loved anything more in my life (the wife will attest to this). Both of the guitarists in my band are life long Ibanez devotees. We recently recorded a new full length album and lo and behold, it was the Agile that ended up on the album. Both guitarists gave up using their various Ibanez models to use my Agile to record. The tone, depth, and playability couldn't be matched in any of the guitars they had fine tuned over the years.
Thank you so much!

Kurt, I have just received my Agile Interceptor Pro 727 a day early from UPS today, and I don't think I've ever been happier. It is everything i wanted and I thought it would be. Beside it being in E, it sound beautiful. I've never been able to afford or play a high quality guitar like this, and I can't tell you how I happy and stoked I am to have it. Ill be broke for a while, but this is not the last guitar I will purchase from you guys. Excellent and totally honest service, safe and prompt shipping, and 115% totally satisfied. Use this as a buyers comment if you wish, because I love Agile and Rondomusic.com, and I couldn't have asked for a better guitar. A very sincere thank you Kurt.

Hey! My name is Jack Hartley and I play in a band from Adelaide, South Australia called INFILTRAITOR. I only recently joined the band and we exclusively play 7 string guitars. My co guitarist owns an agile and as I was looking for a backup guitar, he turned me onto agile. After researching and comparing just about every 7 string available on the market I came to the conclusion that the agile interceptor pro 7 specs were exactly what I was looking for and blew away every other 7string on the market that was double the price. I placed the order on Friday and received my interceptor pro 72 in tribal green today and little did I know I had received the most beautifully assembled instrument I had ever played. The craftsmanship is amazing, it plays like a dream, the hardware is perfect and the overall look of the guitar is just beautiful. I am lucky enough to own an extensive collection of boutique guitars but from the first touch of the interceptor pro i felt like i was shaking hands with god. I will be playing agiles for the rest of my life and plan on buying an 8 string asap. I HAVE FOUND MY GUITAR!!!! thankyou so much for offering this work of art at such an affordable price without compromising quality and craftsmanship.

Hi Kurt, I ordered an Interceptor Pro 727 a while back and you made accommodations for me to receive it early as I was leaving for the Vans Warped Tour. I just wanted to thank you for the great customer service and product. The guitar is everything I was hoping for and came extremely well set up. Although I did not play it on our album it was featured in our video and it did get some stage time during the tour. It gets a lot of comments. I look forward to seeing more new models; specifically I heard you were considering a fanned fret 8-string. Keep up the great work and thanks again!

I got a Interceptor Pro 7 almost 3 years ago, and I maintain that it plays just as nicely as the ESP SV Standard that cost me 3x more -- I tell anyone who will listen. It drives my Pittbull Ultra-Lead at shows almost every week.
