Good things come in small packages.
This short scale acoustic guitar has the quality and materials of a professional model.
Hi Kurt, My lefty SX Traveler arrived this afternoon and I just wanted to say thanks. It is a super little guitar!
If you would like to add to the customer comments, here is my feedback: Quality is near flawless and very playable out of the box. No rough, buzzing or dead frets, action is decent and hardware is functional. Stays in tune. Definitely punches above its weight for such a low price point. I can not imagine any cheap Amazon or eBay units even come close.
Factory strings were usable but swapping them out for fresh Elixirs really opened up the sound and got the top moving. I'm sure it will just get better and better as it's played in. While the tone and timbre won't fool many ears into thinking it's a dreadnought, it is still quite pleasant and loud enough to hang with the big boys around a campfire.
I know it is a travel guitar but even so, I was surprised by how compact it is. Comparable to a baritone or bass ukulele in size. Wow.
BONUS! The soft case is a nice quality and has a pocket just large enought for a capo, tuner and some picks. All together, I think this is a fantastic value. The small size, good playability/sound, quality bag and low price point make it a no-brainer. It is going to be my primary teaching guitar when I give lessons so the Martin can stay safe at home.

Kurt,
My SX Traveler arrived on Thursday morning. Our UPS guy rang the bell and handed the item to me. Guitar arrived in flawless perfect condition. Thanks for such fast delivery and sending it UPS. I am very pleased with your service and with the guitar.

Great little travel guitar with a very nice and well padded case that has a shoulder strap.
I own over 10 guitars, most of them are Gibsons. My guitars are worth between $150.- $3000. a piece.
I have been searching and trying out other brands of travel guitars for a couple of years and the only ones that impressed me,
are the ones that cost $299.- $399. made by Taylor and Martin, but I just wasn't ready to drop that kind of cash on a travel guitar.
I have been a musician for over 35 years and I was very impressed with the sound and playability of this
little guitar. It is well worth the price.
