Answer: Korina is an excellent "tone wood" and has been used by some of the top manufacturers (Gibson, PRS, Brice, etc) to build superior instruments. It is considered to be a "super mahogany" with a sweet mid range and enhanced tonal response.
Question: How does this 3/4 sized guitar compare to a full sized guitar?
Answer: This scaled down guitar is about 3" shorter than a full sized bass guitar. It is excellent for a person who is between 4'2" and 4'10", or for a larger person who just wants a smaller instrument (for perhaps when one travels). People with back issues also enjoy this light weight bass guitar.
Question: How much does the bass guitar weigh?
Answer: Only 8 pounds
