Width of the neck at the nut: 2 1/4"

String gauge: .009, .012, .015, .022, .030, .040, .054, and .074. The standard tuning (from low to high, top down) is F#, B, E, A, D, G, B, E. The tuning can always be changed. Many prefer to tune the F# to a low E, which provides the guitar with a fuller sound by having three different E strings.

This is the fifth time that I�ve ordered a guitar from you and each time I am overwhelmed by the quality of your products! The guitar arrived perfectly set up and ALMOST in tune! WOW! Every time another guitarist plays one of my Agiles they are highly impressed with it, so much so that a lot of them think that it�s a high end custom built boutique guitar. It�s fun to watch their jaws drop when I tell them how much I actually paid. And can we finally get rid of that hackneyed phrase �for the money�! Every now and then I see/read a review of one of your products and invariably the reviewer states �this is a great guitar for the money�. Hell, these are GREAT guitars regardless of the money. I�ll definitely be ordering another guitar from you shortly. I have my eye on that Agile Interceptor Pro 727 EB DNC Silverburst to match my two other Agiles. There�s only one left and I�m hoping against hope that it will still be there when I get my Christmas bonus check. If not, I�m sure I�ll find another one just as good on your website. Kurt, I bought my Agile Interceptor Pro from you about a year ago, and I don't think I've ever loved anything more in my life (the wife will attest to this). Both of the guitarists in my band are life long Ibanez devotees. We recently recorded a new full length album and lo and behold, it was the Agile that ended up on the album. Both guitarists gave up using their various Ibanez models to use my Agile to record. The tone, depth, and playability couldn't be matched in any of the guitars they had fine tuned over the years.

Kurt, I have just received my Agile Interceptor Pro a day early from UPS today, and I don't think I've ever been happier. It is everything i wanted and I thought it would be. Beside it being in E, it sound beautiful. I've never been able to afford or play a high quality guitar like this, and I can't tell you how I happy and stoked I am to have it. Ill be broke for a while, but this is not the last guitar I will purchase from you guys. Excellent and totally honest service, safe and prompt shipping, and 115% totally satisfied. Hi Kurt, I ordered an Interceptor Pro a while back and you made accommodations for me to receive it early as I was leaving for the Vans Warped Tour. I just wanted to thank you for the great customer service and product. The guitar is everything I was hoping for and came extremely well set up. Although I did not play it on our album it was featured in our video and it did get some stage time during the tour. It gets a lot of comments. I look forward to seeing more new models; specifically I heard you were considering a fanned fret 8-string. Keep up the great work and thanks again!

I got a Interceptor Pro almost 3 years ago, and I maintain that it plays just as nicely as the ESP SV Standard that cost me 3x more -- I tell anyone who will listen. It drives my Pittbull Ultra-Lead at shows almost every week.

Question: I received my Agile and there is some fret buzz. What do I do?
Answer: Your guitar was set up and buzz free when it was shipped. However the neck may have moved during shipment. This video should help: Set Up Tips.
