Hey Theresa or Rondo crew, just letting you guys know I received my Interceptor and I am so impressed that I have to email you guys. It is incredible! I really am shocked. It's the first Agile I have ever purchased, I have been meaning to check you guys out for three years now and I'm glad I finally did. I have been in the market for a new seven string and since October I have bought and returned six different guitars from a few different companies online, all having to be returned. They were mostly Ibanez's because that's the flavor and style of guitar I like, RG style, 24 fret, floating trem, flatter board radius etc.

So Ibanez's non Japanese guitars have deteriorated in quality that bad that I had to send them back. I had bought an RG7420PB from zZounds.com for $600!!!! It was three piece neck, mahogany body and a fake paper thing veneer. It was awful. The neck was so poorly made that it was prone to warp and twist out of the box, they don't offer baritone scaled seven strings which is basically required for guitars like that, the body was very sloppy with various imperfections. The neck also had poor fret dressing and the quality of the rose wood was embarrassing. I spent a week each on most of the orders I tried and still could not get them setup the way I wanted but kept trying different models because they are the only guitars I really use for my style of playing and preference in guitars features. It was at the point that I started to question my ability for setting up guitars that maybe I did not know how to as well as I thought. So after awhile I had hit the last straw and had several refunds and was just pissed off, confused a little and just unsure of if i'm just not correctly setting things up and that this is the way these guitars are at this price point or if Ibanez has just totally stopped caring about the quality of their Indonesian guitar manufacturing. Then I remembered you guys and remembered all the good reviews and hell I even bought a douglas from you guys a bit back and wasn't happy but I knew that didn't speak for the Agile line as these are a different line. So fast forward to now and I cannot believe it. I had the Interceptor 727 setup how I wanted in 20minutes, I tuned it to AEADGBE, gave the truss a little tighten, adjusted trem springs a bit and lowered the bridge and it was absolutely PERFECT. Not only that, it actually has a real maple top and the fret board had NO edges sticking out, the rosewood used on it is ridiculous, its a solid color it almost looks like ebony and the grain is nice and tight. The body is finished completely and its painted everywhere it should be. It's a complete guitar. It feels amazing and the frets are squared off very nice. It makes me so furious that Ibanez is pushing that crap on people, they are trying to use better materials but something is seriously wrong with their production right now apparently and I dont know why I am only one of a few people noticing. Their Japanese stuff is great but ofcourse it is, it's made by the best instrument company in Japan. Seriously upset about that.

So thank you for sending me a good product, I work to hard to get robbed all the time and it's bad enough all of us in America have to do what we do to survive without having the things we buy to enjoy ourselves be pieces of crap!

Have a great week ans good luck, thanks again! -Patrick O'Neill -Kathleen O'Neill

Absolutely awesome guitar. Beats any ibanez, esp/ltd, dean, shecter I've played in both sound and quality. Very attractive looking guitar! Feels very good in the hands, perfectly balanced when standing and playing, neck is nice and thin, but not 'too' thin if you know what I mean. The Cepheus 7 pickups took me by surprise. No need for the crunchlab and liquifire here, these guys do EVERYTHING you could need. Great clarity, sustain, everything you need! The pickups really allow you to hear the accuracy of the player, every pick noise and harmonic is picked up! The Floyd Rose is great too! Never goes out of tune! Bolt-on is okay, a bit tough to reach the 24th fret, but it's possible nonetheless. 10/10 would and will buy again!

I just received this guitar in the mail. This blows my Ibanez 7321 out of the water. When I first tried to play it it had severe fret buzz. This is to be expected though because of the travel that it had to go through to get here. After a quick truss rod adjustment and a couple of hours to let the neck set this thing was good to go. I can't wait to use this at my next show. I WILL BE BUYING ANOTHER. Extremely happy. Also the stock Cepheus passive pickups really took me by surprise too.
