Customer Comments:
.... Last night I played it for nearly an hour. I have NEVER played my other banjo for more than about 30 minutes, because the tone was simply not compelling. This new Agile banjo delights my eyes and ears. The tone is smooth but still bright and ringing. It's never harsh or brittle. It makes you want to keep picking it, because it rewards the player with sweet tones and a welcoming, familiar feel to the neck. A very happy sounding banjo.
I have been buying & selling used instruments for a few years. I own 5 Agiles personally, plus a '63 Strat, 61 Gretsch and a number of others I have owned over the years. ! am usually pretty critical of instruments, and will home in on flaws & defects in design & materials. Tone and feel are really what it's all about, looks are secondary. I am very impressed with the tone and action on this banjo, and like I mentioned earlier, EVERY Agile instrument I have purchased delivered feel & tone. That's about 40 or so guitars, a pretty good track record.
You guys have discovered a line of instruments that , but for the Agile name, compare favorably to instruments costing 2 to 3 times what they sell for, based on comparisons of what else is available out there. Every Agile I own plays, sounds & looks like a real professional quality instrument. What an incredible find for me and those lucky enought to own your instruments. Great job! ... Thanks again, and keep up the good work. I LOVE you product! Happy Holidays, too!
