    I thought I'd drop a line to say how impressed I am with my SX swamp ash bass..I've been a player for 45 years,x-pro.I've lost count of what gear I've had and let go.Late in life I've sold off the nice vintage Fender's as I don't play as much now.The fit,finish,playability and sound of this bass-for the money is exceptional. I've had some Squiers and many Fender basses.This is superior to the Squier-Period.( and a few Fenders I've has )I have the Classic vibe white jazz,and this bass is better.Great neck and fret work,and just the assembly.Fit and finish is very good.Out of the box, all I did was set intonation and lower the action.Neck relief was perfect.I soon will order the 5 string as I wanted to test the waters first with this bass .Made in China?Well they got it right!
