  • Bought this for my 11yr old son after he struggled to use my bass. The bass is really good. The neck is straight and frets are well dressed. This is my 2nd SX instrument. They are very well made. Expect to pay at least double for something comparable from a music store. By Joe P

This is a very well made and good sounding bass. Perfect for learning how to play the bass. By W. Bailey (Northern California)

My Daughter went from Cello to Bass Guitar this year. She needed something to learn on as an 11 year old. This is ideal size wise and has a good enough sound as far as we can tell. Easy to use and good Instructions via DVD. She is very happy and will be a great starter for her. Very good value for money. By Mikee

I had started our own 2 children on a JR bass 8 years ago. Was so happy to find this one for our grandchildren who are getting big enough to start playing. The guitar is surprising to me in that it is made so well and sounds quite good. By Julie
