I wanted to write a quick note to say how pleased I am with the two instruments I have purchased from you. The first a fretless Ursa 2 bass, in December 2013, to experiment with at a low price point. The second an Ursa 1 fretted bass, in March of this year.
I bought the second as a quick replacement for some stolen gear before an amateur performance night.
Since then Iíve been out to the local music stores with the intention to replace that which was stolen, but I always leave never finding an instrument Iím quite happy with.
Notably Iíve been looking at ďmade in MexicoĒ Fender Precision basses. Every single one Iíve held the side dot markers are half in the fingerboard wood and half in the neck wood, and the nuts protrude slightly - being a bit wider than the neck. These issues do not appear on my SX basses. Your products match up well against more costly instruments.
Iíve endured some good natured ribbing for playing a ďno-nameĒ instrument, but in the end the SX performs as well as Fender basses (in my unskilled hands).
The finishes and fret work are top quality, the pickups are ample, and importantly the instruments stay in tune.
I look forward to when I decide to buy one more.
Thank you for offering such good quality instruments at more than reasonable prices.
