Shipping: We ship anywhere in 50 United States, Puerto Rico and Canada. We do on occasion ship to Western Europe: Buyer reponsible for customs duty and ups brokerage changes, which will be added to you bill and due upon receipt of order. Customs duty and brokerage charges (for orders outside the US) are not refundable for any reason.

Return Policy: If you received an incorrect item or items are received damaged, the item must be returned within ten days of receiving. Items may be returned for any other reason within 30 days of receiving. Customers that received the wrong item or damaged items may elect to have the item replaced or refunded. All shipping charges will be refunded to the customer (as long as return shipping costs does not exceed shipping to customer’s location). Items that are being returned for other reasons will not have shipping charges refunded. These items must be returned in new condition. Any items that have been modified by the customer are not returnable. Sheet music, software, CD samples, or any instrument played with the mouth such as harmonicas, microphones, etc. are not returnable unless incorrect items are received or they are received damaged.

Rondo Music is an American owned and operated family business, founded in 1959.  Rondo Music sells a variety of musical instruments including electric guitars, power amps, PA, keyboards, recording gear, and DJ equipment. While we sell 1000s of items from 100s of manufacturers, our primary on line focus is SX Guitars, Agile Guitars, Douglas Guitars, Valencia Guitars, Brice Basses, CNB Cases, Drummer's Design and Century Drums.

Since about 1985 Rondo Music has built these custom brand instruments to our specifications based on our customer's requests.  The instruments are imported from a variety of countries including China, Taiwan, and Korea.

Who Should Buy a Essex/Agile/Brice Guitar:

In general, these guitars are great for beginners or novice players to learn on.  They are all full sized (same size as a standard electric guitar or bass guitar). They stay in tune and the necks are straight.  They are also good for expert players who need a guitar to “kick around with”.  Something they can bring to a friend's house, and not worry about scratching, like they would with a $1000 American made guitar.  In general the Brice basses and Agile guitars offer slightly improved quality and some upgraded features (such as maple quilt tops) over the SX, Douglas and Valencia models.  However, the cost of these models is higher as well.

Where Can I Buy SX/Douglas/Agile/Brice Products:

These products are distributed by a number of companies throughout the world.  In the United States, Rondo Music is the main reseller.  The brands are frequently auctioned on www.ebay.com or may be purchased directly from Rondo Music. Other companies may distribute these products but usually under their own brand name.  These guitars are essentially the same guitars with a different name printed on them.
